Double the Capacity, Double the Programs, Double the Space
A new campus set to open in 2014 will transform NCC Monroe. The current campus -- a comprehensive branch campus located in the Poconos region of northeastern Pennsylvania -- offers educational opportunities in a "small college" environment that focuses on you. This student-first approach will continue as we grow and move into the new nearly 200,000-sq-ft campus just two years from now.
The faculty-to-student ratio at the current campus makes for a more personalized learning experience. Don't be surprised to see professors engaged in discussions with students in The Cafe, community room or even the hallway. Student Services staff also get to know our students and frequently check in to see how their studies are going.
Monroe Campus features a unique community life that includes numerous student clubs and events throughout the year, and intramural sports. It's a special place that has a strong sense of community, and a commitment to quality. It's why the new campus will include all of the amenities that college students need: bigger classrooms, science labs, a state-of-the-art library with plenty of study space, student life areas, resource centers and more.
