This time a year ago, the much-needed, long-dreamed-of new campus in Monroe County only existed on paper. Now -- gazing uphill from Route 715 -- you can see the silhouette of buildings that will soon be filled with students. One is already under roof. Two others will be shortly. Construction crews are on sight daily, their progress visible. The campus is on target to open in 2014 -- possibly in spring, definitely by fall. Careful planning has gone into creating an LEED-certified campus.
