Honors Program

The Northampton Honors Program is a great option for students who want to be challenged and plan to transfer to a four-year institution. Honors students are also eligible to apply for a special scholarship to Dickinson College to complete their Bachelor's degree.

Requirements for Acceptance

Students enrolling from high school:

• Meet the placement requirements for English I
• A minimum grade point average of 3.5 on a 4-point scale or rank in the top 20% of their class.

College students:

• A minimum 3.5 grade point average after twelve credits of college work.

Students not meeting the criteria:

• Present a letter of recommendation from a faculty member, counselor or another person knowledgeable about your academic record for consideration
