Apply for On-Campus Housing using our online application.
Credit Enrollment Requirements
In order to reside on campus students must enroll for 12 or more credits per semester. Students may choose to enroll in online learning, however, nine of the twelve credits must be in standard credit courses.
Because NCC is the only community college in Pennsylvania that offers housing, applications for housing on campus exceed the space. The Residence Life Office ranks applications based on the applicant's academic history, expected major, distance of permanent residence, and recommendations verifying little to no disciplinary history in high school or previous college.
For questions and further information regarding the housing application process, please contact the Residence Life Office at 610-861-5324.
Please note: Before submitting your housing application you must first apply to the college for admission.
Fall housing applicants are encouraged to apply by March 1. Spring housing applicants are encouraged to apply by September 1. Housing spaces will be offered to qualified applicants starting April 1 for the fall semester and October 1 for the spring semester.
Applicants will be accepted, space permitting, up until the 10th week of the semester.
All students living in the residence hall must purchase a meal plan. Students are given a meal plan credit balance each Monday. Meal plan dollars can be spent in the Food Court or Spartan's Den. Meal plans A, B & C include $200 flex dollars per semester. Flex dollars are in addition to your weekly meal plan dollars. Flex dollars can be spent in the Bookstore, Food Court, Food Cart, and Hampton Winds restaurant.
Rent starts at $2,278 per semester for a standard Residence Hall room and $2,414 per semester for a standard apartment, with a two-semester lease. In addition, a $150 housing security deposit is due at the time of selection, which will be refunded upon termination of the lease and a satisfactory inspection of the premises. Prices quoted represent Fall 2013/Spring 2014 costs. Rent, meal plans and security deposits may be adjusted for future semesters.
