A Happy Interruption

It was not business as usual for Donna Goss on Tuesday, January 28.  The co-director of NCC's Center for Business & Industry, has a busy schedule providing leadership training and coaching for executives from companies all over the Lehigh Valley and beyond.  She also works with non-profit groups, but representatives from the YWCA of Bethlehem were not on her calendar.  In they walked.  Their mission?  To surprise Goss with the  news that she has been selected as a "Woman of Distinction" for 2013.  Tipped off in advance about the visit,  Donna's colleagues at NCC's Fowler Family Southside Center were lurking nearby to share their congratulations and good wishes.  Donna will officially  be honored at the Y's "Women & Teens of the Year" awards ceremony at Blue on April 4 along with three other honorees.  The award recognizes outstanding community service.
