VINELAND, NJ - After splitting the first two games of their best of three series on Saturday, most observers expected game three on Sunday between 4th seeded Cumberland and 5th seeded Northampton to be a battle of wills ... the two teams did not disappoint, as Northampton advanced to their 4th consecutive Region XIX Final Four with a thrilling 13-12 victory.

VINELAND, NJ - Northampton and Cumberland split the first two games of their best of three series on Saturday, with the Dukes taking game on 8-4 and the Spartans rebounding to win game two 10-3.  The two teams will meet on Sunday at noon at Cumberland to determine who advances to the Region XIX Final Four.

EDISON, NJ - The Northampton softball team put up a valiant effort, but came up short in the end at the Region XIX tournament, falling to #1 Brookdale 4-1 and #3 Middlesex 8-7, to finish in fourth place at the double-elmination tournament.
