The sixth issue of "The Laconic," Northampton Community College's literary and arts magazine, is
"great-looking," says Kyle Apgar, editor-in-chief. "And the content is just as excellent as the cover."
Art and literature lovers gathered in Cohen Lounge on November 1 to celebrate the release of the latest issue, which contains short stories, photographs, poems and artwork submitted by students, faculty, and staff.
"We could not have done it without the hard work of everyone here today," Apgar praised the magazine's dedicated student staff and all those who contributed.
Prizes were awarded for the best student submissions. The literary award went to Angelica Romans for her poem "Boundaries." The artwork for the cover of the magazine, "Zephyr," was created by art
award winner Leslee Ayala.
