Course Changes and Cancellations
Occasionally, we need to make changes in a course's time, location, or instructor. Due to conditions beyond our control, we may even need to notify you of a course cancellation. You may choose to transfer into another course or receive a full refund. We regret any inconvenience this may cause you.
Non-grading Policy
The College does not issue letter grades for non-credit courses. The College will issue a statement of satisfactory completion for those students or companies who require such written documentation. Students requiring such documentation should notify the instructor at the beginning of each course.
Continuing Education Units
You may be eligible to receive continuing education units (CEUs) by taking some of our courses. Courses with CEUs attached to them may involve some form of assessment of the skills or knowledge gained by the student from the course.
Fee Refunds
Students who wish to withdraw must formally request withdrawal with the College and will be eligible for a refund as follows:
In addition, special refund policies may apply if noted with the course description. Refunds resulting in a credit balance on the account are reimbursed by check made payable to the student within 14 days.
Formal withdrawal may be made by phone toll free 1-877-543-0998, by fax 610-861-5551, or in person at the Main Campus Records Office, Monroe Campus Enrollment Office, or the Fowler Family Southside Center.
Refund Example: If a class starts on a Monday, NCC will issue a 100% refund for anyone who withdraws the Monday before or earlier. Students who withdraw on Tuesday or Wednesday will receive a 50% refund. No refund will be provided to anyone who withdraws Thursday or Friday.
