Computer Aided Design StudentA technical skill that can lead anywhere: Students with a background in computer-aided design can be prepared to start careers as mechanical or draft designers, CAD operators or technical illustrators.

From there, they can expect to advance to careers in a number of industries including architecture, graphic and engineering design, aerospace, and even landscape architecture or jewelry design. NCC provides the tools needed for career success by offering a curriculum that utilizes the latest software and technology.

Students are guided through problem-solving activities and design projects that promote individual and team effort, as well as creativity. Computer-aided design is used in industries for a number of purposes and may be performed in 2-D or 3-D. The program courses provide a theoretical background and prove to be both challenging and hands-on.
