Today's manufacturing and workplace environments are fast-paced and always changing. For those working in institutional and instructional settings, it is important to stay on top of changes while working within the compliance guidelines of regulatory safety and health requirements. The Corporate & Public Safety (CPS) education department's institutional and industrial safety programs are developed with the assistance of local safety and health experts to ensure your workforce is trained in the most current safety practices.
All of our programs are available on a contracted basis and can be customized to meet your institutions' specific needs. We can conduct full or partial day training, on-site or on-campus. We have five main areas of training:
The policies of the federal government's Occupational Safety and Health Administration are the standard for all industries. Staying on top of regulations, standards and procedures issued by OSHA is critical to your business.
The Corporate & Public Safety education department provides 10-hour and thirty hour OSHA Outreach Training programs for general industry and the construction trades. Ten hour outreach programs cover topics such as hazard identification/avoidance, electrical, walking/working surfaces, fire and emergency prevention and are applicable for all level employees. The thirty hour courses emphasize the regulations and interventions that can be implemented to assure compliance with OSHA regulations. The 30 hour general industry course is ideal for safety and health managers, safety supervisors/coordinators and human resources managers. The 30 hour construction outreach program is ideal for safety directors, foreman and field supervisors. Upon successful completion, participants will receive either a 10 or 30 hour OSHA completion card.
The education of a safety conscious workforce is essential to promote and assure workplace productivity while providing a climate of well being. Our hands-on employee and employer are applicable to all industries and are committed to promoting a workplace dedicated to safety.
