Daniel Wang

Daniel Changyan Wang began teaching in the Mathcounts class in the 2012-2013 school year at NCC's Bethlehem Campus. He teaches classes for middle school students, aimed at math contests like Mathcounts.

Daniel is currently a junior at Parkland High School and participates in many math competitions and teams. For example, he is currently a member of the Lehigh Valley American Regions Mathematics League (ARML) team, one of the top ARML teams in the nation. When he was in middle school, Daniel placed as 12th individual for the Pennsylvania Mathcounts contest.

He hopes to bring enthusiasm to the classroom and show students that math can be exciting and deeply rewarding. Moreover, he hopes that students' exposure to creativity-based math will bring them to further pursue math learning, beyond the classroom.
