An instructor since fall of 2007, Kathleen Coddington teaches novel writing at NCC's Bethlehem Campus. Her course is designed to walk aspiring novel writers through the basic steps of character development, plotting, setting and dialog, along with an overview of the publishing business and how to submit for publication.
After retiring, she pursued a career as a romance writer. She published her first book in 2007 and is currently working on her sixth. She collects Victorian jewelry and has published several articles on Victorian fashion. Kathleen and her husband are frequent speakers at schools and historical societies.
A member of the Pocono Lehigh Romance writers and the Greater Lehigh Valley Writers Group, Coddington also volunteers with the Northampton Historical and Genealogical Society. Currently she is working with the curators on an exhibit of historical clothing, one of the largest ever done in the Lehigh Valley, slated to open in 2014.
