Ken Burton

Ken Burton has been working with wood professionally since 1984. He holds an Associate of Arts degree from Bucks County Community College in Fine Woodworking, a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Arts Education from Millersville and a Master of Fine Arts degree in Woodworking and Furniture Design from the School for American Crafts at RIT.

Ken operates Windy Ridge Woodworks at the heart of which is the design and construction of studio furniture and custom cabinetry. This is coupled with teaching woodworking workshops and freelance writing. Ken is the author of six woodworking books and numerous magazine articles. 

In addition to his appearances at the Fab Lab, Ken teaches in the Technology Education Program at Boyertown Area Senior High School. You can also catch up with him at the Yestermorrow Besign/Build School in Warren, Vermont and at Peters Valley Craft Center in Layton, New Jersey.
