Marty Arum, a retired New York State teacher who taught for almost 40 years in a New York State prison, will be teaching a PRIME course entitled "The Old Testament as Literature" at Alumni Hall. Ironically this course began while teaching at the Arthur Kill Correctional Facility in Staten Island. It covers all the memorable stories of the Old Testament such as Adam and Eve, Cain and Abel, Noah and the Flood, and the Patriarchs, Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.
