Required Forms

To apply for financial aid at Northampton Community College you will need to complete and submit the following two forms:

Free Application For Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)
The FAFSA may be submitted via the Web by clicking on the above link. 


If you wish to submit a paper FAFSA instead, you can print a FAFSA from the Federal Student Aid Web site (please note that a printed FAFSA must be mailed for processing after completion).

You can also have a paper FAFSA mailed to you by calling the Federal Student Aid Information Center at 1-800-433-3243.  If you are hearing impaired, please contact the TTY line at 1-800-730-8913.

The NCC Financial Aid Information Form may also be obtained from the NCC Financial Aid Office on the Main Campus or from the Enrollment Office at the Monroe Campus.  You may also request that a NCC Financial Aid Information Form be mailed to you

Please note that the NCC Financial Aid Information Form needs to be completed, signed and submitted to the NCC Financial Aid Office in order for your financial aid application to be complete.

Students can check if their financial aid application is complete or if any documents are still needed by checking their financial aid information on Spartan Net.
 
Northampton Community College Deadlines
The Northampton Community College financial aid Fall semester priority application deadline is March 31st.  Students who complete their aid application by the Fall semester priority deadline will be notified of their eligibility for financial aid before the tuition due date for the upcoming Fall semester.
 
For students starting in the Spring semester, the NCC financial aid Spring semester priority application deadline is October 1st.  Students who complete their aid application by the Spring semester priority deadline will be notified of their eligibility for financial aid before the tuition due date for the upcoming Spring semester.
 
Students may apply for financial aid after the priority deadlines.  However, these students should be prepared to pay their respective Fall or Spring semester bill in full by the due date or enroll in the NCC tuition payment plan.  Please note that students who receive a financial aid award after paying their bill will receive the award via a refund from NCC.

Pennsylvania State Grant Deadline
The Pennsylvania State grant deadline for filing the FAFSA is May 1st for most students.
