Community Health Worker
The Community Health Worker course is geared towards participants who want to work in either a community-based or inpatient setting and contribute to improved health outcomes to the community where they reside. Topics include the role of the community health worker, ethics and professional skills, teamwork and communication, documentation and assessment procedures, chronic disease overview, accessibility to health care services, and care coordination and system navigation.
