Members of the Monroe Campus chapter of Phi Theta Kappa participated in the 24-hour Stroudsburg Area Relay for Life on June 14-15. Their team, Beta Beta Chi for a Cure, raised more than $4,000 after a year of fundraising efforts. It was their highest total yet!
In addition, they were also recognized at the event for having the most team members (32) on a team in the event's history.
"It was an incredible event with a variety of teams set up around the track. There were hundreds of people walking, and exciting entertainment throughout the 24 hours," says Michelle Pretopapa, Beta Beta Chi advisor and enrollment services manager. "We want to thank the NCC community for all of its support in our fundraising efforts. We're looking forward to participating in next year's Relay."
