From the Band of Brothers Club: Our first bake sale of the fall term will be held on Thursday, Sept 25th in the Food Court. Speciality cupcakes are returning, along with other tasty treats (melt in your mouth brownies and pineapple upside-down cake), gluten free items, and some healthier snacks, too!  See you on Thursday!

From the Charts (Radiography) Club:  We're sponsoring an animal adoption and donation drive event on Friday, September 26, from 10-2 in the Quad to support the Center for Animal Health and Welfare. Animals that are available for adoption will be there, and we'll also have bins to collect donations of dog and cat food, liquid dish soap, laundry detergent, bleach, dish sponges, cat and dog treats, toys for cats and dogs, new or gently used leashes, paper towels, cleaning supplies, new or gently used towels, sheets, pillow cases and blankets. Monetary donations will also be accepted. Thanks for your support!

From The Laconic (NCC's Literary and Art Magazine): The deadline for submissions to The Laconic is October 3. Students, faculty, and staff may submit up to 3 works each: stories, poems, drawings, paintings, photos, and other visual arts. Send submissions to The best student submissions will win $$. From the Psychology Club:  Stuff the RV! Help support your community schools by bringing school supplies such as dry erase markers, pencils, pens, erasers, glue sticks, backpacks, notebooks, crayons, folders, hand sanitizer, tissues, lunch boxes, umbrellas, and electric pencil sharpeners to donation bins on the first floor of College Center. The supplies will be "stuffed" into NCC's new RV and distributed to schools in Bethlehem and Bangor Area School Districts.

From NCC's Hispanic Caucus:  We're collecting new and slightly used items for children who have come from Central America unaccompanied and are now housed at Bethany Children's Home. Please drop underwear, sneakers (all sizes), coats, Spanish language books, hair brushes, and toothbrushes in the large white drums in the enrollment center, first floor of College Center, outside the advising offices.  For a complete list of items or if you have questions, please email

From Career Services:  There are numerous internships available to qualified students in the areas of marketing, accounting, web design, criminal justice, communications, graphic design, and other areas. From the East 40 Community Garden: Purchase fresh produce from NCC's East 40 Community Garden on Wednesdays in the Quad on Main Campus, 10:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. In case of rain, the market will be held in the lobby of College Center. The market will held every Wednesday until early November. The latest crops, honey from NCC hives (when available) and East 40 t-shirts, hoodies, and handmade pottery will be sold.
