Spring & Summer 2014

Registration is on-going and will continue through the start of each session.

Fall 2014
Priority Registration  for current students (enrolled for Spring 2014) will begin:

  • Monday, April 14 - current student with 35 or more earned credits
  • Tuesday, April 15 - current student with 11 or more earned credits
  • Wednesday, April 16 - any current student

Registration for New*, Visiting and Re-Admit Students will begin on
June 3.

*New students (who have not previously attended any college) will register as part of Orientation

How to Register

Current Students
Information for students who have attended Northampton in the previous semester.

New, Transfer/Visiting and Re-Admit Students
Information for newly enrolled students and those returning to NCC after missing at least one semester.

Academic Advising and Placement Testing
Advisor approval is required for all full-time students (12 credits or more during the Fall/Spring semester; 8 credits or more for any summer session) and/or students on academic probation. Students registering part-time (fewer than 12 credits during the Fall/Spring semester or fewer than 8 credits during any summer session) and who are in good academic standing do not require advisor approval. Part-time students who do not meet with an advisor are responsible for checking course prerequisites before registering.  

English and Math Placement Testing must be completed prior to registration if English and Math courses are required for your program. Review the Placement Test Policy and testing schedule.

Canceling Your Registration: Drop or Withdraw from classes
If, after registering for classes, you decide not to attend Northampton, drop your classes via MyNCC before the semester begins or complete and submit an Add/Drop form by the deadline dates published on the Academic Calendar. Once the semester begins, partial charges may be assessed based on the date that the courses are dropped.

After the Add/Drop period (approximately 3 weeks into the semester), we enter the Withdrawal period. Complete and submit the Course Withdrawal Form. There are no refunds issued for withdrawn classes; a grade of W will be recorded on the student transcript. Refer to the Academic Calendar for specific dates.

Tuition, Payment, Financial Aid
All registered students should review residency, tuition, payment, and refund information. You are responsible for payment of your courses. Failure to ensure payment may result in failing grades and/or a balance being due.

Financial Aid is available for those who qualify. Important Note: students who apply for financial aid may still be responsible for payment.

Voter Registration
We are here to help you register for classes, but we also encourage you to register to vote. Get involved in the electoral process! If you are a resident of Pennsylvania, take a moment to visit the Votes PA web site and submit (or confirm) your voter registration application online.
