The Monroe Campus Learning Center (MCLC) is located in 140 Keystone Hall and provides various kinds of learning assistance to help student be successful in reaching their goals. Free services include one-on-one and small group tutoring on an appointment basis for writing and MDLA courses, and walk-in tutoring for other subjects, including, but not limited to, Mathematics, Statistics, Business, Accounting, Economics, Art, Music, Psychology, Biology, Chemistry, Anatomy/Physiology, and Computers. Specific subjects may be available upon request. Other free services/resources include computer usage and printing, computer help and guidance, study skills assistance and college success strategies, various kinds of test-prep, academic coaching, and more. In addition, the MCLC runs various kinds of workshops, review sessions, learning activities, and pilot projects throughout the terms and upon the request of and in conjunction with students, faculty, and staff.
The MCLC general hours are Mondays through Thursdays from 9 am to 7 pm, Fridays from 9 am to 4:30 pm, and Saturdays from 9 am to 4:30 pm for the Fall and Spring semesters. During the Summer terms, the MCLC general hours are Mondays through Thursdays from 10 am to 6 pm.
