Local manufacturing experts assist NCC with developing a curriculum for Applied Quality & Standards that will keep students competitive and knowledgeable in today's practices. Those new to the program will pick up vital hands-on operating skills; those returning to the program will gain a new set of skills that will help them to advance in the workforce.
The curriculum includes a work-based internship that can be completed with a student's current employer. Graduates new to manufacturing will gain a new set of skills and knowledge qualifying them as machine operators, quality inspectors or technicians, and manufacturing engineering technicians. Existing manufacturing personnel who graduate from this program will become better qualified as technicians, auditors, supervisors and managers of quality, manufacturing group leaders, and process technicians.
