Barry B. Kwasny began teaching at NCC Horizons for Youth in 2008. He works at the Monroe Campus teaching classes that focus on building and creativity, outdoor activities and sports, and music.
Barry does modeling and painting of small figures as a hobby. His experience as an Eagle Scout has given him a great love for nature and the outdoor world. He has also played the violin and trumpet from a very young age.
Since 2006 he has taught math in the Pocono Mountain School District teaching everything from Pre-Algebra to Functions. He has coached swimming and tennis at the high school level. Barry has a B.S. Mathematics - Concentration Finance Track, M.Ed. Secondary Education - Math, and Administrative Certificate from East Stroudsburg University.
The goal of any class he teaches is that all students have fun and create memories that they will look back on.
