Justin Jacobs began teaching in December of 2013 at NCC's Fowler Center on the south side of Bethlehem. He teaches Inlay Design and assists in other classes offered at the Fab Lab. Justin has been working with wood and materials for over 15 years. After graduating with a BS in Applied Engineering and Technology from Millersville University in 2011, he continued his education becoming a Certified Technology Manager and Certified Solidworks Associate.
His professional background includes Army ROTC, camouflage testing, machinery maintenance, and product engineering. His career and education have given him experience with metals, plastics, woods, and ceramics using various processes and modern machinery. His goal is to teach each student the fundamentals and building blocks that will give them direction to develop their skills and talents. Justin has many hobbies including charity work, guitar building, shooting, WWII living history, special effects, etc.
