Meg Kennedy

My name is Meg Kennedy and I have been teaching K-1 Horizons for Youth summer classes at the Main Campus of NCC since the summer of 2015. I received my Bachelor's in Early Childhood & Elementary Education from Bloomsburg University in 2010 and earned my Master's in Reading & Literacy from Walden University in 2014. I am currently in my 7th year of teaching. My first four years of teaching were spent in Maryland as a kindergarten teacher. I moved back to PA in the summer of 2014 and taught 3rd grade for one year, and then moved back down to kindergarten. In my personal time, I enjoy traveling, reading and spending time outdoors. My philosophy of education is that all students, when given the appropriate tools, resources and support, have the ability to learn to his/her fullest potential and to be lifelong learners.
