Sallie Urffer

Sallie Urffer began teaching Healthcare courses at NCC's Fowler Southside Center in 2011.   Sallie has had progressive work experience for 29 years at a large hospital network in the Lehigh Valley.  Sallie is a National Sports Official for USA Cycling and travels across the US officiating all levels of competition including National and International races.  

She has earned her Master's degree in Health Care Administration from Penn State, A.A.S.BA in Business Admin from DeSales University and AAS in Physical Therapy from LCCC.

Urffer's teaching philosophy is "I want everyone to have a positive learning experience in my classes.  Since coming from industry, I'm able to relate the curriculum to real life, which makes the learning experience more meaningful.  I treat the classroom as though it's a job and students are there to perform a specific job - I'm there to facilitate the learning.
