Combat Stigma - PTSD & TBI Panel & Networking Lunch
The Northampton Community College Band of Brothers and Psychology clubs proudly present “Combat Stigma” and invite you to explore the all-too-often unseen world of post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and traumatic brain injury (TBI) and the resources available for those who suffer in silence.
Shake hands and network over lunch with our distinguished panel of presenters and peruse the information and awareness displays. Our panel consists of distinguished scholars, State Senator Rosemary Brown, State Representatives Maureen Madden and Zach Mako, as well as experts in resources and services for PTSD/TBI and Veterans.
The Band of Brothers is a student-run organization at Northampton Community College that advocates and supports student Veterans on campus. The goal of BOB is to build camaraderie among student veterans, families, and allies as we facilitate a seamless transition from military life into higher education.
The presentation at the Bethlehem campus, room CC220 and will be streamed live to the Pocono Campus in Keystone Hall 202 A/B. Questions? E-mail veterans@northampton.edu.
