The Farm Market at NCC - every Wednesday
The Farm Market at NCC is open every Wednesday from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m., running through Wednesday, Oct. 30. Stop by the main campus Quad to #shoplocal!
The market features fresh organic produce from Farmer Kegan Hilaire and his team at Blackbird Farms, now growing on 3.5 acres at the East 40. We also typically have tasty treats created by the NCC Baking & Pastry class students - they are very popular and sell out quickly!
The market also features other local vendors' products like fresh cut flowers from Beau Design Co. and Bubbly Hills Farm, fresh ginger and ginger products from the Wonder Farm, herbal teas from Katydid Hill Farm, herbs from Blue Sun Growers, honey from the Rodale Institute, and coffee beans from Monocacy Coffee - with new additions coming every week.
You can also enjoy a complimentary cup of Monocacy Coffee, freshly-brewed (served in sustainably-sourced cups donated by our friends at Green Pond Packaging) and pick up info from community partners.
