The Farm Market at NCC - every Wednesday
The Farm Market at NCC is open every Wednesday from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m., running through Wednesday, Oct. 30. Stop by the main campus Quad to #shoplocal!The market features fresh organic produce from Farmer Kegan Hilaire and his team at Blackbird Farms, now growing on three acres at the East 40. And come early to pick up the tasty treats created by the NCC Baking & Pastry class students - they are very popular and sell out quickly!
The market also features other local vendors' products like fresh cut flowers, herbal teas and coffee beans from Monocacy Coffee - new additions every week. You can also enjoy a complimentary cup of Monocacy Coffee, freshly-brewed (served in sustainably-sourced cups donated by our friends at Green Pond Packaging) and pick up info from community partners.
