Winter Fest

NCC Welcomes the Festive Season

Photos by Patricia Canavan,

It wasn't quite "winter-y" weather-wise, but no one was complaining on December 10 as Northampton Community College celebrated Winter Fest at the Bethlehem campus.

Especially happy about the sunny day in the mid-50s were the donkey, goats, sheep and baby Jesus in a living nativity scene put on by the Christian Fellowship club.

The Muslim Student Association offered delicious Middle Eastern food to sample, and explained about some of their winter holidays, such as Eid al-Fitr, held at the conclusion of Ramadan, and Eid al-Adha.

Attendees could have a photo taken with a sunglasses-sporting Santa and Mrs. Claus in a sleigh, play holiday-themed games, make crafts, or munch on cocoa, cookies, popcorn and snow cones.
