Board of Trustees Chair for Northampton Community College (NCC), Robert Fehnel, was elected to the executive committee of the Pennsylvania Commission for Community Colleges (PACCC) where he will serve as treasurer. The nonprofit advocates for Pennsylvania’s 15 community colleges with members including college presidents, college administrators, and members of the colleges’ boards of trustees.
An NCC board member since 1986 and a 1975 graduate of the college, Fehnel’s commitment to community service and public education is unmatched. Fehnel became board of trustees chair for NCC in 2014 after serving as vice chair for ten years. For 25 years, he was also chair of the board’s finance and college facilities committee.
Fehnel holds positions on local school boards, including 20 years as president of the Wilson Area School Board and eight years on the Easton Area School Board. In addition, he works with the Chrin Family Foundation, supporting STEM Programs for Easton School District students. Fehnel is employed as a PMC Business Analyst for BerkOne in Bethlehem.
