NCC Welcome Back Events

Northampton Community College (NCC) held three events to kick off the new semester and help introduce and inform students about the opportunities and resources available throughout their Bethlehem and Pocono Campuses. The first event was Department Fest in the Laub Lounge on the Bethlehem campus on January 24, followed by Spartan Fest on Bethlehem campus and Club Fest at the Pocono campus both held on January 25. These events are extremely useful for students looking to get involved on and off campus or seeking more information on specific resources the NCC community has to offer.

This year's Department Fest focused on informing students about what each department does on campus and the tools available to help them succeed. Departments such as the Center for Career Development, the Learning Center, and the Center for Community, Equity, and Inclusion were all present to answer questions and help students.

The following day, Spartan Fest showcased the diversity of campus life and offered free food, beverages, and entertainment. The students who stopped by took advantage of the opportunity to connect with peers and find new interests. Club Fest helped provide students with a look into the variety of clubs and organizations available at NCC’s Pocono campus. From academic groups to hobby-based clubs, the event allowed students to explore their interests and passions beyond the classroom.

The events brought meaningful interactions and emphasized the importance of building connections within the NCC community. Students left these gatherings with a sense of belonging and a better understanding of the opportunities they have available to them!
