Northampton Community College (NCC) was named a 2024-2025 Military Friendly School with gold status according to MilitaryFriendly.com. The distinction is awarded to colleges and universities that foster an environment that helps best serve military and military- affiliated students.
The Military Friendly Schools survey is the longest running most comprehensive review of college and university attention to serving military and veteran students, according to their website. The Military Friendly Advisory Council, with experts representing the field of veteran education, develops a survey used to evaluate each institution.
NCC was recognized because of efforts in creating meaningful education paths for the military community. NCC welcomes all military-affiliated students and aims to provide support, facilitate and coordinate services and programs to students who are active military, veterans or military-affiliated students as they begin or continue their education.
