NCC’s Alum and Staff Named Women of Excellence

Northampton Community College (NCC) Director of Leadership Development Institute for the Center for Business and Industry, Ann Haggerty Raines, was named one of the Lehigh Valley Business (LVB) 2024 Women of Excellence and 2024 Circle of Excellence inductees. She is one of only seven women to receive the Circle of Excellence honor this year.

Haggerty Raines said, "I am so honored to be selected as a Circle of Excellence winner for doing the work that means so much to me.  To see others become who they want to be, is its own reward. Perhaps most gratifying is feeling the support of smart, talented co-workers on this journey every day. Working with leaders at NCC who give autonomy and allow me to risk, learn, and grow makes me feel blessed!"

Women of Influence awards honor high-achieving women for their career accomplishments. The honorees are selected based on their professional experience, community involvement and commitment to mentoring. Circle of Excellence honorees are women of longstanding, notable success in the community who are leading the way for other women.  

The honorees were selected by a panel of judges comprised of previous years’ Women of Influence recipients and by the editors of Lehigh Valley Business.
