The Andrew Goodman Foundation, a nonprofit organization that helps amplify young voices and votes in our democracy, will host its 9th National Civic Leadership Training Summit on Wednesday, July 31 and Thursday, August 1 on Zoom. This year’s theme, ’64-’24: The 60th Anniversary of Freedom Summer, reflects a milestone in the history of civil rights and voting advocacy and is inspired by the legacy of Andrew Goodman. The event will include a keynote address, an educational speaker panel and sessions, as well as hands-on training activities about campus organizing and engagement. These sessions aim to equip attendees with the knowledge and skills needed to drive civic engagement and voter participation across the country. In fact, NCC’s Assistant Director of Student Life and Leadership Development, Nykolai Blichar, will be one of this year’s speakers!
