The Monroe Campus Learning Center, located in Keystone 140, serves all the students at Northampton Community College, from those who want to maintain high grades to those who want to improve their GPAs. Trained tutors and academic coaches work with students in a variety of ways such as walk-in sessions, individual appointments, and academic success workshops. Students can also take advantage of the MCLC’s computer for homework and printing. Our fall and spring hours are 8 am to 7 pm, Monday through Thursday and 8 am to 5 pm on Friday. Our summer hours are Monday through Thursdays from 8 am to 6 pm.
The primary goals of the Monroe Campus Learning Center are to promote independent learning and to help students reach their academic potential. All of our academic success programs are free of charge.
High demand courses (mathematics, statistics, chemistry, and other sciences) have a walk-in service that does not require an appointment. Arrive at the Monroe Campus Learning Center in Keystone 140 and get help!
Monroe A&P Learning Extension (MAPLE)
An additional space is available for those students in Human Biology and Anatomy and Physiology have special open lab times with tutors in either KAPP 220 or KAPP 221. View the MAPLE Schedule here. Please note that KAPP220 and KAPP221 are lab spaces—proper lab attire is required and lab protocols are expected to be followed. Let us know if you have questions.
Appointments & Walk-ins
Some courses are appointment driven at the MCLC (accounting, languages, writing). Students can certainly walk-in and work with any tutor who is free. Click here to see the schedules

Students can receive writing tutoring in almost any course offered at NCC.
Students who need help developing academic/study skills can benefit from an appointment with an academic coach.
