Prepare for employment or transfer to a four-year accounting program to pursue CPA certification with the Associate in Applied Science in Accounting at NCC.

This program is ideal for those who already hold an undergraduate degree and need to acquire accounting skills or take steps toward CPA certification. In the two-year accounting specialized diploma, you’ll study financial accounting, business law, managerial accounting, cost accounting, income tax accounting, and principles of auditing.

Get ready for support positions in accounting firms and other related business areas. This one-year accounting program covers essential skills in financial accounting, information technology, communication, accounting applications, and personal finance.



Prepare for Your CPA

The AAS or two-year specialized diploma in accounting are affordable options for starting your journey toward the Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification. To sit in the CPA exam in Pennsylvania, you need to complete 150 credit hours at the undergraduate level, including 24 credits in accounting subjects—many of which you can earn at NCC.
