Since its establishment in 1967, Northampton Community College is where Lehigh Valley residents turn to earn a degree, access workforce training, expand their professional skillset, learn new leisure activities and bring their children for enrichment. Our arts, athletics and academic programs are second to none and provide students and community members with a breadth of options for their continued learning and education.
Today, NCC serves nearly 30,000 students a year through degree and community education programs that can be completed in as little as 8 weeks (for a certificate) and up to two years for a full associate degree and a wide-range of options in between. For many, we provide the affordable training needed to enter the workforce or for a pathway to transfer to a four-year college or university. We also provide community education opportunities for those looking to broaden their personal passions and interests with classes in areas like cooking, photography, health & wellness, theater and more!
With three locations, Northampton Community College is diverse in terms of age, ethnicity, economic background, and academic interest. The college grants degrees, certificates, and diplomas in more than 100 fields and is one of the largest employers in the Lehigh Valley. And we are the only community college in Pennsylvania to offer on-campus housing, so you can learn, live, experience and thrive!
