About Ashley Russo

Ashley Russo, owner of ASR Media, is a seven-time Emmy® award winner and seasoned media executive with 25 years of experience in the industry. ASR Media proudly produces Fig Lehigh Valley, a quarterly publication and local-loving guide celebrating the small businesses and impactful nonprofits that make Lehigh Valley a vibrant community. In addition to her career in media production, Ashley is the CEO of the engineered coating solutions manufacturer Magnaplate.

Deeply committed to her community, Ashley serves on the boards of the Girl Scouts of Eastern PA (GSEP), the Children’s Home of Easton, the Greater Lehigh Valley Chamber of Commerce (GLVCC), and Hospital Central Services, Inc.& Affiliates. She also chaired the American Heart Association’s 2025 Lehigh Valley and Berks Heart Ball. Ashley is an active committee member, supporting the Wildlands Conservancy, Take the Lead Lehigh Valley and Women United, to name just a few. She is a member of the Tugboat Institute and United Way of the Greater Lehigh Valley’s Tocqueville Society. She co-chairs the GSEP Golf for Girl Scouts Annual Fundraiser and the Northampton Community College Food and Wine Gala. In 2022, she and her husband served as co-chairs of United Way's Annual Campaign.

Ashley has received several leadership honors, including the Grace Montessori Lifetime Learning Award, LifePath’s Community Service Person of the Year award, Girl Scouts of Eastern PA’s Take the Lead, United Way’s Community Builder, Philanthropist of the Year from Women United, and GLVCC’s Volunteer of the Year.

Ashley began her career as a producer on NBC’s TODAY Show, Bloomberg LP, and The Weather Channel. Her entrepreneurial spirit soon kicked in, and she became a writer, independent producer, and media consultant for numerous national publications and experts, including Cooks Illustrated, Prevention, Woman’s Day, and Weider Publications. She earned her bachelor’s degree in journalism from New York University.

A lifetime horse lover, Ashely is a multi-time American Saddlebred world and national-titled equestrian. She resides in Bethlehem with her husband of 25 years, Joe, and her two children, Nolan and Renna.
